Arne Hovmand-Olsen set of four dining chairs for Mogens Kold, Denmark, 1959. Crafted in beautifully grained teak and oak, these elegant chairs showcase the organic lines and refined craftsmanship that define Hovmand-Olsen's celebrated Scandinavian modern designs.
The sculptural backrests flow seamlessly into the gently curved rear supports, while the distinctive cut-out handholds and softly shaped seats provide both comfort and visual lightness. Their tapered legs and elegant proportions make the chairs a timeless addition to any dining interior.
The set is presented in very good vintage condition with a warm patina and beautiful teak grain throughout. A fine and increasingly sought-after set of Danish dining chairs, combining exceptional craftsmanship with iconic mid-century design. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
designer records,
or other literature sources and take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising
from
misattribution
