the thick, heavy, transparent black glass top, with only minor signs of wear typical for its age, rests on the oval base.

the heavy, black plastic base has scratches, while the aluminum base is matte, which is intentional\. Even though "chromcraft" might suggest chrome plating ;)

however, the tabletop is covered in the same cream-white faux leather as the chair cushions\. And this is where the ravages of time are most evident:

the top layer has bonded with the glass surface and partially detached from the fabric.

even when carefully reattached, this is still clearly visible, see detailed photos.

we left the table—just like the chairs—as is, simply cleaning it and polishing the plastic parts.

however, the tabletop is covered in the same cream-white faux leather as the chair cushions\. And here, too, the ravages of time are most noticeable:

the top layer has bonded with the glass surface and partially separated from the fabric. The set is still perfectly usable:

a design classic with age-appropriate signs of wear!
