Rare and highly sought-after Astoria HB lounge chair, designed by Franco Bizzozzero in 1999 for Bonacina 1889. The Astoria series is characterized by its rigorous, clean lines, refined detailing, and exceptional craftsmanship.
This example is upholstered in striking zebra-pattern cowhide leather and comes with a Original Bonacina custom-made matching ottoman, making it an exceptionally rare set. The frame is crafted from beechwood with a dark wenge finish, while the distinctive backrest features hand-woven leather cords, a signature element of the Astoria collection.
The combination of sculptural design, luxurious materials, and outstanding comfort makes this an impressive statement piece for contemporary and design-oriented interiors.
Excellent condition. The chairs were acquired as decorative pieces and have never been used for regular seating. As a result, the upholstery, leather cords, and wooden frames remain in exceptionally well-preserved condition with only minimal signs of age-related storage.
