This model is … Read more An exceptional Swedish Modern sideboard designed by Nils Jonsson for Hugo Troeds Möbelfabrik, dating to the 1960s. This model is one of Jonsson’s more distinctive designs, featuring sculpted teak pulls, contrasting black sliding doors, and a clean architectural profile that embodies classic Scandinavian Modern design.

This example has been professionally restored and presents beautifully. The teak case has been carefully cleaned and finished with a durable clear coat that highlights the natural grain, while the black sliding doors and base have been freshly painted for a crisp, updated appearance. The result is a piece that retains its vintage character while being ready for everyday use.

The cabinet offers generous storage behind its smoothly operating sliding doors. One interior shelf is missing, though a replacement could easily be fabricated if additional shelving is desired. Aside from that, everything functions exactly as it should.

Overall, this piece is in excellent restored vintage condition. There may be a few extremely light signs of use consistent with age, but nothing that detracts from its presentation. One small mark remains on the lower front stretcher and has intentionally been left untouched; it is clearly shown in the photographs.
