This striking mid-century modern piece features rich walnut veneer over solid wood construction with the signature free-form sculpted drawer fronts and original rosewood “X” inlays that double as pulls. The tapered sculptural legs and warm carmel walnut finish perfectly capture the Scandinavian-inspired American design of the early 1960s.
Original circular Bassett Furniture Industries metal badge with the covered-wagon logo is still present on the interior.

Condition: Good vintage condition with expected wear for a 60-year-old piece. There are surface scratches and light marks on the top, some minor edge wear, and normal age-related patina.
