Each piece is an original work by artist Garrett Knoll, printed and framed by hand in Brooklyn, New York. The image is printed on site and the frame is custom-built by hand. The result is an archival pigment print (giclée) on lustre photographic paper, set in a 0.75 inch thick walnut frame with an elevated float mount. Every piece ships with a signed Certificate of Authenticity, professionally packaged to arrive in perfect condition.
Casa das Histórias Paula Rego, designed by architect Eduardo Souto de Moura, stands in Cascais, Portugal. Completed in 2009 at the request of painter Paula Rego, who chose Souto de Moura herself, its twin red concrete pyramids reinterpret the region's historical architecture as a house built expressly for her work.
