manufactured by france & søn in denmark during the 1960s, and designed by danish designer finn juhl. This extendable teak table belongs to the most significant era of postwar scandinavian design. The company, founded by charles w. France and later led by eric daverkosen, collaborated with some of the most important danish designers, including juhl, contributing to the international diffusion of nordic modern furniture. The slender frame, tapered legs, and quality teak reflect the attention to craftsmanship and functionality that have made france & søn famous. At 171 cm long and featuring two 50 cm extension leaves, the tabletop can be easily extended to 181 cm. The original circular "fd" mark is present.
