Teak coffee table, model 503, with the original France & Søn brand. Danish production, 1960s.
Designed by Tove & Edvard Kind-Larsen and produced by France & Søn in Denmark in the 1960s, this coffee table stands out for its particularly refined construction, featuring a top with a raised edge, tapered legs, and contoured side crosspieces that lend dynamism to the structure. The quality of the teak workmanship and the attention to detail reflect the high production standards that made France & Søn one of the most respected names in postwar Danish design. The top features the original France & Søn Denmark branding, embedded directly into the wood.
