This whimsical design, resembling a dachshund, is constructed from folded sheet metal with a black body, black ears, and a contrasting white nose. What makes this example especially desirable are the original details: the rubber feet and the plastic collar, elements that are so often missing on surviving pieces. Even with its original brown electrical wire that has to appearance of being the dog leash is still there. These subtle additions bring charm and authenticity, enhancing the character of the piece.
