The cabinet … Read more This vintage mid-century Danish modern teak secretary desk or bar cabinet was made in Denmark in the 1960s. The cabinet has refined, compact proportions and is well constructed with classic Danish modern styling and clean, functional detailing. It features teak veneer in a rich, warm hue with integrated recessed pulls, a drop-front writing surface, and a solid teak base with tapered legs and a gently arched front apron. The upper interior is simple and functional, consisting of a single fixed shelf behind the writing surface. Four spacious lower drawers feature dovetail joinery, and the drop-front door is lockable with the original working key. The cabinet demonstrates the quality craftsmanship and attention to detail characteristic of Danish and Scandinavian furniture produced during the mid-century period.

CONDITION
Excellent condition with wear consistent with age and use. Original working key included. Minor veneer chipping is present along the inside top edges of some drawers as shown in the photos which does not affect function. Faint maker’s mark and "Made in Denmark" stamped on backside.
