Beyond the Fields is an original contemporary abstract landscape painted in oil on canvas by French artist Sophie Dumont.

Inspired by the open countryside of Normandy, the composition transforms agricultural fields into a harmonious arrangement of geometric planes and subtle textures. Layers of muted greens, warm earth tones, soft blues and luminous neutrals create a peaceful atmosphere where representation gradually gives way to abstraction.

Built with multiple layers of oil paint applied primarily with a palette knife, the surface reveals rich textures and delicate chromatic variations that change with the light.
