The faux marble weighted cast iron base and suspension armature has elegant styling that echos the earlier Art Nouveau period while leaning towards the Craftsman aesthetic of the Art & Crafts movement to come, all very well engineered and assembled as all B & H fixtures of that period were. Original complete Inkwell is a solid heavy chunk of cast Crystal glass with its inner well float and Bakelite inscribed lid still intact. See less

CONDITION: This stunning lamp is in exceptional complete original condition, completely intact and fully functional. The intentionally patine'd finished solid Brass assembly is super clean with just some mild signs of wear and moderate tarnish spots to the shade mostly on its backside, otherwise there are no issues or blemishes overall. Original push through switch socket with newly replaced rayon wrapped insulated wiring has been inspected & tested to be clean, safe and completely functional. The inkwell is complete and should be functional, it had alot of dried up ink in it that has been fully cleaned out. The cast iron base with its unique marble effect finish is super clean without issue. DIMENSIONS: The lamp stands around 16" high with an overall width of 10" to the base as shown, the shade is about 7" diameter X 4.5" high...filament bulb IS NOT included.
