Hand-knotted area rug featuring a deep navy-blue field surrounded by a rich burgundy border. The design incorporates large-scale floral, palmette and scrolling foliate motifs in shades of gold, camel, muted green, rose and cream.
The rug has a plush, lustrous pile that changes appearance depending on the direction of the nap and lighting. Its dramatic color palette and traditional Persian-inspired design would work beautifully in a living room, study, library or bedroom.
