Constructed of beautifully figured quarter-sawn white oak, the cabinet features elegant bowed curved-glass side panels, a large glazed front door, decorative rope-twist columns, graceful cabriole legs, and a carved lower apron. The warm original finish highlights the dramatic ray fleck and grain patterns throughout.

The spacious interior includes multiple display shelves, while the curved side glass provides beautiful visibility from every angle. The cabinet retains its original brass hardware and lock and includes a working skeleton key.

It remains in very good antique condition with honest age-related wear, including light finish marks, minor surface scratches, and small shrinkage gaps in a few shelf boards that are typical of century-old solid oak furniture. All glass panels are intact, and the cabinet is structurally sound and ready for use.

An outstanding example of early twentieth-century American craftsmanship that works equally well as a china cabinet, curio cabinet, or display cabinet. See less
