Up for sale is a stunning, authentic mid-century modern Adrian Pearsall "Compass" dining table (Model 2458-T48). This iconic piece features a beautifully sculpted, solid walnut interlocking base that showcases Pearsall's signature organic, architectural aesthetic. Perfect as a dramatic four-seat dining table or an elegant foyer piece.
CONDITION REPORT:
This piece is in good vintage condition and is priced to reflect its minor cosmetic age-related wear:
Glass Top: Includes the original 48-inch round glass top. The glass exhibits light surface scratches/swirls consistent with age and use, and there is one localized small chip on the outer edge (visible in photos). It remains fully functional and structurally sound.
Walnut Base: The sculptural solid walnut base is structurally excellent, sturdy, and features a gorgeous rich grain. There are minor, normal cosmetic scuffs at the very bottom of the tapered legs from chairs being pulled in and out over the decades.
