Handsome figured veneers and intricate inlays enhance the sweeping serpentine lines of this majestic sideboard. The original is on display in the Du Pont Dining Room at Winterthur, and is a superlative example of New York craftsmanship between 1795 and 1805.
This piece was purchased from the Porter Furniture Co in Racine WI in 1987.
The sideboard is in mint condition. A protective glass top was custom made when it was purchased. The piece comes with the original key which fits the 5 lower enclosures
