The complete catalogue for the record-breaking sale of the art collection of Yves Saint Laurent and Pierre Berge. The auction made over 373 million Euros and included the most exceptional works by masters of painting, sculpture, ceramics, furniture, metalwork and other decorative arts. Part I represents a remarkable collection of Impressionist and Modern art, including pieces by Degas, Manet, Cezanne, Gauguin, Vuillard, Mondrian, Ensor, Gris, Picasso, Matisse, Leger and Derain. Part II includes paintings by de Hooch, Hals, Gainsborough, David, Ingres, Burne-Jones and Rossetti. Part III contains snuff-boxes, fine silver and other exquisite objects. Part IV offers a who's who of 20th century furniture makers - Lalanne, Chareau, Dunand, Ruhlmann, Brandt, Rateau, Gray, Frank, Leleu. Part V reveals Laurent and Berge's taste for bronzes, cameos, statues, ceramics and other objects.
