It has a gorgeous teal color with amber accents on its face and chest. High-gloss glaze. He is perched on a stylized, pale grey rock plinth. He has a beautiful, well-made elongated beak. This is in excellent condition. It has a maker's stamp at the bottom with Hertwig and the iconic "Cat in the House" backstamp, a playful nod to the factory's home city of Katzhutte, translated to Cat's Hut, that dates it back to the early 20th century (1914-1945) interwar period. The production mold size numeral "3" is clearly stamped as well.
