It features a richly carved rope‑twist frame and an ornate scrollwork crest topped with a dramatic camshell motif, all characteristic of Imperial’s high‑quality Chippendale Revival designs from the early 20th century.

The frame has a warm reddish mahogany‑tone finish with the fine natural pitting typical of gumwood, a wood Imperial favored for its ability to hold crisp carved detail. All carved elements are present, sharp, and intact.

The original mirror glass shows a few small black age spots and tiny pinpoint reflective speckles visible at an angle — a normal and desirable characteristic of early silvered glass.
