Set of five silverplate lobster picks by Christofle, Paris. Each bears the C C poinçon with balance scales, Christofle's original mark used 1844–1862 under Charles Christofle — the first generation of French electroplate, produced following the firm's 1842 acquisition of the Elkington electroplating patents.
Twin-tined picks for extracting lobster and crab meat, with a filet-style threaded border to the handles. Originally part of a larger shellfish service.
Condition: Good antique condition. Original plating with tarnish and surface wear consistent with age.
