Hand-painted with botanical details, with each … Read more This is SUCH a beautiful set of antique Old Paris Porcelain plates and tazzas. Hand-painted with botanical details, with each posey being unique, this set is an absolute charmer! Highighted with gold accents, these pieces are just lovely and would be thrilling to make into a plate wall. Many of the designs appear similar at first, but upon closer inspection you see that the butterflies or other details a just a bit different. I just adore the vintage appeal combined with my favorite color combination - pink and green!

There are no markings, but I feel strongly that this set is Old Paris porcelain as the pieces and style are quite in line with other pieces of Old Paris I have encountered. There is faint wear to the gold, but it all displays so beautifully. It's age means there are som irregularities fro me production, including inclusions under the glaze on a few of the plates as shown in the photos. I found one faint chip to the underside of a foot on one pedestal.

I would say the first photo is the most indicative of the color - my phone camera doesn't love reds and pinks in general but the first photo is very close to the "in real life" color.
