An authentic, early-era vintage MacKenzie-Childs small accent footstool/ottoman, handcrafted in Aurora, New York.
This piece features a beautiful muted floral tapestry brocade upholstery finished with individual decorative brass nail head trim.
It stands on four intricately hand-carved wooden feet sculpted into a stylized leaf and acorn motif.
The underside features the highly collectible, original stamped brass maker's plate dated 1993, marking it as a desirable piece from the founders' original era of ownership
Upholstery & Trim: The floral jacquard tapestry fabric is clean, taut, and in excellent vintage condition with no stains, rips, or odors.
The brass nail head border is completely intact.
Woodwork & Feet: The polished wood underside is beautiful.
Please note: Two of the carved wooden feet have several superficial chips in the wood finish and the tip of one leaf has a chip . ***** PLEASE see photos *****
These can easily be rotated toward the back or interior of the stool so they are completely hidden from view when on display.
