Originally manufactured as a commercial illuminated sign during the 1950s, the cabinet is constructed from heavy-gauge folded steel and retains its authentic industrial character throughout. The substantial weight, original fabrication, side electrical housing and aged patinated finish all speak to its commercial origins.
The cabinet has been sympathetically updated with warm LED lighting, allowing it to function as an atmospheric statement light while preserving the integrity of the original steel construction.
