Poppe doesn't … Read more A limited-edition photograph made on a beach in the South of France by the American artist Kimberly Poppe. Poppe doesn't stage her pictures, she finds them — working by watching and waiting for what Cartier-Bresson called the decisive moment. Here, among furled white parasols and scattered bathers, a woman tips into a handstand, legs shooting straight up against a bleached summer sky. It's a photograph with wit, equally at home in a coastal interior or any room that can take a light, unexpected note.

Printed as an archival giclée print on Hahnemühle Fine Art Baryta 325 gsm paper with pigment inks, in a numbered edition of 50 with certificate of authenticity.

The image measures 60 × 90 cm; with its 1 cm white border on all sides the full sheet is 62 × 92 cm. Ships unframed and rolled in a protective tube; framing available on request.
