Poppe frames a striped beach awning head-on — sun-bleached bands of saturated orange and white, split down the center by a narrow vertical channel of clear blue sky. Stripped of horizon and context, an ordinary piece of seaside canvas becomes a study in color, light and space that reads closer to a color-field painting than to conventional coastal photography.

Printed as an archival giclée print on Hahnemühle Fine Art Baryta 325 gsm paper with pigment inks, in a numbered edition of 50 with certificate of authenticity.

The image measures 60 × 90 cm; with its 1 cm white border on all sides the full sheet is 62 × 92 cm. Ships unframed and rolled in a protective tube; framing available on request.

Poppe’s images can be found in private collections around the world. She has been featured in Architectural Digest, Elle Decor, House & Garden UK, and The World of Interiors.
