Excellent hand chased detail with strong signature to base with the Meroni Radice foundry stamp also to base. Dimensions: H 28cm W 51cm D 17.5cm Origin: Italian Date: Circa 1920 Piero Palazzolo was an Italian Art Deco sculptor active during the 1920s and 1930s, celebrated for his sleek, dynamic figures of big cats and wild animals. Palazzolo’s legacy is deeply tied to the Meroni Radice foundry , a prestigious Italian bronze workshop active during the early 20th century, known for their use of the cire-perdue or lost wax casting methods.
