Suspension lamp in lacquered metal, chromed metal, and opal glass.

The Sisten series is a system of lamps produced in the 1970s by Fontana Arte.

Fontana Arte is an Italian company founded in Milan in 1932 by Luigi Fontana and Gio Ponti.

Still in business, it boasts collaborations with the biggest names in design.

Over time, it has created furniture and lamps that have become icons and collector's items in the design world.

Designed by architect Gianni Celada, who graduated from the Polytechnic University of Milan in 1961, he was Art Director of Fontana Arte from 1970 to 1980.

The chandelier is in working order and in excellent condition. It may show slight signs of aging on the chrome plating, as shown in the photos.
