Each piece is an original work by artist Garrett Knoll, printed and framed by hand in Brooklyn, New York. The image is printed on site and the frame is custom-built by hand. The result is an archival pigment print (giclée) on lustre photographic paper, set in a walnut frame with an elevated float mount. Every piece ships with a signed Certificate of Authenticity, professionally packaged to arrive in perfect condition.
Walden 7, designed by Ricardo Bofill's Taller de Arquitectura, stands in Sant Just Desvern, near Barcelona, Spain. Completed in 1975 on the site of a former cement factory, its fourteen stories of interlocking courtyards and sky-bridges were named for B.F. Skinner's utopian novel Walden Two.
