It originates from the bernese gesellschaftshaus, which was founded in 1907 and later renovated. The striking silhouette, geometric lines, and characteristic interplay of open compartments, drawers, and decorative glass elements make this piece of furniture a true design classic and an impressive focal point. The piece bears the original stamped number 1617 as an internal manufacturer's/production mark.

crafted from black-stained ash, the sideboard impresses with its high-quality workmanship and its elegant, understated appearance. The two-part structure consists of a spacious base cabinet with six drawers and three roomy cupboards, as well as a top shelf and display case. At its center is an artfully crafted stained-glass window with a floral motif in delicate shades of violet, green, and mother-of-pearl, framed by shimmering mother-of-pearl inlays, giving the piece its distinctive character.
