The bundled bamboo is joined by rawhide lashings and has a versatile rectangular shape. John McGuire created this design and did not mark these specific dining/coffee tables with the traditional brass McGuire tag, instead the internal steel frame is painted “Golden Gate orange” to signify its authenticity. This can been seen peeking through some sections of the bamboo (last picture shows a portion zoomed in). In excellent condition and thoroughly cleaned. All of the rawhide lashings are complete and intact in a beautiful complementary chocolate color. The glass top is 48” x 24” and beveled, although not an original McGuire glass top and shows a few small surface scratches consistent with age/use.
