A serene pair of early 20th-century Vietnamese Annamese green glazed garden forms — one drum stool with pierced sides and floral relief, and one fluted pedestal with coin medallion top. Each piece displays the hallmark translucent celadon glaze developed in the Red River Delta.
The glaze pools richly in the recesses, creating subtle tonal shifts and a tactile, glassy surface.
Both pieces are hand-thrown, with visible wheel rings and slight asymmetry that reveal their artisanal origin. These forms were produced for French colonial villas and temple gardens. Their sculptural weight and quiet luminosity make them ideal as garden seats, plant stands, or architectural accents indoors.
The absence of a maker's mark is typical of Vietnamese garden ceramics of the period. The warm buff clay body and traces of fused sand at the base confirm authentic Annamese production.
