A sculptural set of six mid‑century “Orange Slice” patio chairs, newly restored and powder‑coated in a soft off-white. The design features curved mesh seats and backs that echo the organic geometry of sliced citrus, balanced on crossed tubular steel bases.
Originally produced in the 1960s, designed by Maurizio Tempestini for Salterini, these chairs embody the era’s fascination with lightness and form. The diamond‑mesh pattern creates a play of light and shadow, while the crossed legs lend a dynamic, architectural stance.
Professionally refinished with durable outdoor powder coating, the set is ready for garden, terrace, or interior use. Their sculptural silhouette makes them equally striking around a pool or in groupings with low tables.
Note that these chairs are designed to sit low and lean back. They do not work well with a standard dining height table. However, they are absolutely charming with slightly lower tables.
