Smooth, parallel curved graphic stripes that mimic aerodynamic bends or architectural molding. Warm sepia, bronze, cream, and deep amber gradients.
American multi-disciplinary artist Dan Mayo is based out of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Mayo is widely recognized for his historic photography. Most famously, he shot the iconic cover portrait for rock legend Leon Russell's breakout 1972 album Carney.
His abstract style often focuses on exploring unique textures, color relationships, and structural weight. Known for pushing boundaries, he also created a series called TV Prints, where he captured high-shutter-speed digital photographs of scrambled cable television transmissions to transform media artifacts into abstract art.
