Acquired in New Orleans from an estate in 1997. Appears to be walnut but i'm not sure. Very solid construction and smooth finish. Top is resting on bottom with no hardware tying the two. Has been in the setting shown in photos for 20ish years holding pottery and glasswares. My guess from other photos and listings is 1850 to 1880ish. See less
