The sage-green painted frame is topped with a carved rocaille shell cresting, and the tapestry, a bouquet of roses and garden flowers rising from a footed urn, is held in place with brass dome nailhead trim and finished with woven rosette medallions at the corners. This piece is in good antique condition overall, with one small area of noted wear described below.
