It is a tea set that includes a lidded teapot with six diminutive teacups and matching saucers. The fine porcelain is painted with embossed dragons and they are marked Made in Japan. The cups are small, measuring 2.5" in diameter and 2" high. This is typical of Japanese teacups and not to be mistaken for child-size. The small size helps concentrate the flavor and keep the tea from cooling down. The teapot is 8"high x 8"wide and 4" in diameter. The saucers are 4.5" in diameter. I have inspected them carefully and there are NO chips, cracks or scratches. See less
