The rectangular center section carries two rounded-corner drop leaves that raise on wooden fly-leg swing brackets to form a generous top, and lower to slim the table against a wall. One end holds a single dovetailed drawer with a turned wood knob — the handy detail that makes these more desirable than a plain drop-leaf.

Built the period way: hand-cut dovetails on the drawer, pinned joinery, and a warm cherry/mahogany tone with genuine age color and honest surface. Standing on four turned, tapered legs with crisp baluster-and-ring turnings.

Endlessly practical — a small kitchen or breakfast table, a sofa/console table with the leaves down, a bedside or lamp table, or a compact writing table with storage.
