Its organic, fluid shape is highly characteristic of the creative glass blowing techniques popularized by Josef Hospodka during his tenure at the Chribska glassworks. It features a striking contrast between the vivid cobalt blue core and the frosted, petal-like clear glass overlay that forms a tulip-inspired silhouette. This elegant heavyweight piece exhibits high-quality lead crystal and hand-finished glass edges where the frosted and cobalt layers meet. This beautiful vase is best displayed as a standalone sculpture. It measures 10 3/4” tall by 7 1/2” wide and is in good vintage condition. There are two small places underneath the bottom as shown in photos. See less
