Its organic, fluid shape is … Read more This exquisite vintage sculpture is a classic example of 1960’s Mid-Century Modern Czechoslovakian art glass. Its organic, fluid shape is highly characteristic of the creative glass blowing techniques popularized by Josef Hospodka during his tenure at the Chribska glassworks. It features a striking contrast between the vivid cobalt blue core and the frosted, petal-like clear glass overlay that forms a tulip-inspired silhouette. This elegant heavyweight piece exhibits high-quality lead crystal and hand-finished glass edges where the frosted and cobalt layers meet. This beautiful vase is best displayed as a standalone sculpture. It measures 10 3/4” tall by 7 1/2” wide and is in good vintage condition. There are two small places underneath the bottom as shown in photos. See less
