Tall and narrow Queen Anne style mirror with etched decoration and beveled glass in an ebonized and parcel giltwood frame by Leon J. Gerard of Philadelphia, circa 1940s.
Very elegant mirror with an upper arched frame tableau featuring a hand-etched neoclassical crest of an urn filled with flowers surrounded by trailing floral swags and cascading ribbon motifs above a central panel with cut glass beveled segments bordering the lower portion. The shapely frame in ebonized and parcel gilt embellishment with rosette detail perfectly presents this lovely work. An exceptional mirror beautiful in a powder room, over a console or anywhere throughout the home.
