Intricate leaf scrollwork adorns across the top of the coffee pot and the sharp edges are excellent examples of the Art Deco style of the period. Makers mark stamped on the base along with style number ‘1972’, confirming the piece dates to the 1910’s. Wilcox Silver Plate Co. was formed in Meriden, CT in 1867 and closed in 1980. Several designs by the company were exhibited in various museums starting in 1934. In very good condition, minor wear commensurate with age and use.
