It is rare to find a complete set of 6 … Read more Designer Pietro Constantini's iconic "fan" chairs epitomize Italian Post-Modern Design. It is rare to find a complete set of 6 arm(host), dining chairs. The chairs feature a high-gloss, black lacquer finish over solid wood frames, and gray leather seats. The entire length of the chair back is constructed from vertical slats which gradually fan-out as they reach the top of the chair. The front legs create a tripod effect and are sculpted to form the flared armrests. The chairs are architectural and a striking combination of angles and curves. They are sure to be a conversation starter and will be a sophisticated and stylish addition to your home. The chairs were made in Italy c.1980's and have no markings. There are some scuffs and minor wear consistent with age and use. There are a few areas where the wood is splitting between the slats that we should mention but almost unnoticeable.
