Part of Robert Kuo's inaugural limited-edition furniture collection for McGuire, this signed four-door buffet is handcrafted in antiqued copper repoussé over an elm wood frame with a lacquered finish. Featured in Architectural Digest, "Celebrating 30 Years of Sophisticated Robert Kuo Design," August 31, 2014, it exemplifies Kuo's mastery of the ancient repoussé technique through its striking hand-hammered geometric relief. The cabinet features three drawers, two removable shelves, and touch-latch doors. Individually handcrafted, no two examples are exactly alike.

Robert Kuo is a Chinese-born artist and designer renowned for blending ancient Asian craftsmanship with Art Deco and Art Nouveau influences. After apprenticing in his father's cloisonné workshop in Taiwan, he moved to the U.S. in 1973 and established a celebrated studio in Beverly Hills. His sculptural furniture, lighting, and decorative objects, crafted using techniques such as cloisonné and repoussé, have earned international recognition, with works in the Smithsonian's permanent collection and prestigious hotels and museums worldwide. Today, Kuo is regarded as one of the foremost contemporary masters of decorative arts.
