Large antique artist's easel, acquired from Galerie Half in Los Angeles in 2019, where it was described as "Large Easel, France, 18th Century." Original purchase price was $6,800.
I do not have documentation to independently verify its age or origin, so I am offering it based on that provenance.
The easel has a wonderful, well-worn patina with visible signs of age and use that add to its character. It sits on casters, and both the wheels and the crank mechanism are functional.
A striking decorative piece as well as a substantial working studio easel.
