In addition to the visual aesthetic, the sound of the two pieces "clinking" together is superbly mellifluous. The Morimura style is generously gilded and luxurious. This is a two-piece set (pedestal bowl and lid). No noticeable defects, there are some random gold markings that in my experience are a standard for hand painted antique porcelain. This estate sale find is a true jewel and I am happy to share it. See less
