This is a Hollywood Regency or British Colonial style woven rattan wingback armchair.
Structural and Design Highlights
Framing: It features a dark-stained, solid wood contoured trim that outlines the high, sweeping backrest and flows seamlessly into scrolled open arm rests.
Body and Weaving: The backrest, sides, and base are tightly wrapped in a golden-brown, diagonally woven wicker pattern, giving it rich texture and a continuous profile.
Base Legs: It sits on minimalist, square tapered wooden legs that flare slightly out at the rear for support.
This type of resort-style furniture is heavily inspired by high-end brands like Artistica Home or Tommy Bahama.

There are simple fixes that will extend that for you, including a special glue that can be applied to the fraying areas, and using a cushion instead of sitting directly on the caning. There is a lot of life left in this beautiful old chair, and with some minor repair a lifetime! The condition is reflected in the price. Of course, you can always make me an offer. less
