Only the upper portion of the face remains visible, one weary eye staring outward with quiet resignation as the rest of the body disappears beneath the undulating waves.''Engulfed'' captures the profound exhaustion of being overwhelmed by forces far greater than oneself. The relentless external pressures gradually swallow one’s identity and energy. There is no violent struggle, only a tired surrender; the eye remains open, still witnessing, yet too drained to resist.In this liminal space between consciousness and submersion, the figure is neither fully free nor completely lost, trapped in quiet fatigue and reluctant acceptance.
