The figure exists as both observer and observed, suggesting that identity is constructed from many broken, unresolved parts. The segmented, mechanical body represents emotional scars, lived experiences, and internal contradictions that shape the self. Rather than hiding these fractures, the painting dignifies them. The implied mirror is psychological: the distorted perspective forces an uncomfortable closeness, emphasizing that self-examination is rarely flattering.
