The two women show different responses to the world around them: one taking a protective stance,guarded and alert, while the other appears more relaxed, open, and less defensive. Together,they show how identity shifts between strength and vulnerability depending on who we arewith and how we feel seen.The pigeon in the frame extends this idea. Once domesticated and relied upon forcommunication, pigeons later became overlooked and dismissed. In the same way, otherscan shape how we value ourselves either uplifting us or making us question our place. Thepigeon reminds us that even under external judgment or influence, we must still claim ourown .
