This piece started by priming of the canvas using gesso, the overall paintwork was done using oil paint and the … Read more This piece started by priming of the canvas using gesso, the overall paintwork was done using oil paint and the ribbon was painted with golden acrylic pigment. This painting started off as me wanting to distract myself from the current six piece series i was working on. To me "boundless" was a getaway, a reminder that one cannot just be bound or tied down by decisions made; you can choose to change, you can choose to break free or in my case "take a break". I hope this colorful work of art resonates with you.
