This work of art is the fourth in the series titled “SANCTUARY”My idea was to explore the concept of retreat and protection. Each painting in the series shows a human figure wrapped up in a fabric leaving out the face, the flowing fabric acts as a shield, offering the subject a safe haven where they can pause, reflect, and find peace.The series highlights the importance of having a space of refuge, a sanctuary where one can heal, grow and prepare for life’s next steps.
